Breakfast meeting with the Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs

In end November, the Danish Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod met with the Danish Chamber of Commerce in Japan to give insights on overall Danish political priorities, business opportunities and challenges for Danish Companies. This was a good opportunity for DCCJ members to also pose questions to the minister regarding Danish foreign policy priorities in the coming years. The meeting was held at the 36th floor of The Prince Gallery with a panoramic view of Tokyo.

The three keys areas that was focused on during the meet was:

Climate Crises, the situation is getting more concerning, and action needs to be taken.

The global economic center is slowly shifting to the Indo-Pacific. Three of the world’s largest economies are here, including Japan, and Denmark needs to look more towards Asia.

Future foreign policy priorities.

Thank you to all DCCJ members that participated!
