The Legacy: Carrying Expo 2025 Momentum into the Future

October 11, 2025, the Nordic Pavilion officially announced the launch of the NKBA during the “Nordic Arctic Day” program. As the final milestone of the Expo, this alliance ensures that the partnerships cultivated over those six months continue to flourish.

Establishing a Lasting Platform for Cooperation The NKBA provides a unified platform to enhance Nordic visibility in Kansai while respecting the independence of each chamber. Our mission is to foster sustainable growth in Energy & Sustainability, Urban Design, Tourism, Education and more.

Event Recap: Welcome to the Nordics – EXPO 2025 Osaka-Kansai Reception

On May 21st, 2025, the five Nordic Chambers of Commerce in Japan and the OCCI hosted an exclusive networking reception and guided tour of the Nordic Pavilion at EXPO 2025 Osaka.

With the theme “Together Towards a Better Future,” this networking reception event brought together more than 50 chamber members and guests, and offered a chance to explore exciting collaborations and strengthen cross-country partnerships between the Nordics and Japan, particularly in the Kansai region.
