Job Opportunity: Administrative Officer

Location: Royal Danish Embassy, Tokyo

Focus and Responsibilities

The Royal Danish Embassy is looking for a proactive, efficient and reliable Administrative Officer. The Administrative Officer will undertake administrative, HR, accounting, and supporting consular tasks, within the Embassy’s administrative and consular team. Responsibilities can be developed and expanded over time.


Required Qualifications

The successful candidate should have a relevant educational background (preferably at academic level), a minimum of five years of relevant work experience, native-level Japanese, and strong English skills (written and spoken). The candidate must have legal residence in Japan and be able to work independently in a structured and flexible manner while contributing positively to a team-oriented, international work environment.

Job Opportunity: Commercial Officer (Food, Agriculture & Fisheries)

Location: Royal Danish Embassy, Tokyo

The Trade Council in Japan is seeking an experienced, outgoing, and proactive Commercial Officer to assist Danish businesses and organizations in exploring opportunities within the food, agriculture and fisheries sector in Japan. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Den- mark’s frontrunner role when it comes to exporting sustainable and innovative food and food solutions while fostering collaboration between Danish companies and Japanese stakeholders. Furthermore, the candidate will be involved in the Government-to-Government relations as well as regulatory issues in order to provide further access and ensure alignment between commercial activities and broader bilateral cooperation within food, agriculture and fisheries.
