Take Your Career to the Next Level with JMEC

Are you a young professional, mid-career employee, entrepreneur, or someone else looking to broaden and upgrade your business skills while living and working in Japan?

The Japan Market Expansion Competition (JMEC) is a unique executive education program that brings together professionals from diverse industries, nationalities and backgrounds to solve real business challenges for actual clients. JMEC is supported by our chamber and 17 other foreign chambers of commerce and therefore part of the international business community in Japan.

Working in multicultural teams and guided by experienced executives and successful start-up founders, you'll gain hands-on experience in business strategy, market research, financial planning, project management, and business plan development. Conducted entirely in English, JMEC also helps you strengthen your professional communication, presentation, leadership, and teamwork skills while expanding your professional network.

The program includes lecture sessions online and in person (Tokyo), so you can participate from anywhere in Japan.

Whether you're looking to accelerate your career, transition into a new role, become a start-up founder, or simply challenge yourself in a dynamic learning environment, JMEC offers an experience unlike any other in Japan.

Applications for JMEC 33 are Now Open

Online info sessions start on August 27th: https://jmec.gr.jp/participants/upcoming-information-sessions
