NORDEN was founded in 1871, making it one of Denmark’s oldest internationally operating shipping companies. Incorporated in Denmark, NORDEN is listed on Nasdaq Copenhagen as a part of the OMX Nordic Mid Cap index.
Following the increasing growth of NORDEN’s dry cargo activities in Japan, the company opened their office in Tokyo on 1 October 2022.
“NORDEN has enjoyed strong relationships with our dry cargo partners in Japan for more than 50 years, and with the opening of a new office in Tokyo, we have an opportunity to further strengthen our ties and services with current partners and customers, while being able to identify and offer our services to new potential customers,” says Rasmus Takechi-Hansen, newly appointed Head of Dry Cargo Japan at NORDEN.
With the opening of a new office in Tokyo, NORDEN now has 13 offices on six continents.
