During the world's biggest sports event held in Tokyo this summer, the Royal Danish Embassy will be open to the public for the exhibition: "Denmark - the Land of Everyday Wonder". This ‘Denmark Pavilion’ will introduce Denmark and its representative companies and organisations.
During the event, the Royal Danish Embassy will be open to the public, and visitors will be able to enjoy family-friendly events, a kids' corner for children, as well as Danish snacks and drinks. In the Ambassador's residence and garden, Danish companies will be holding seminars for businesses and cross-industrial exchange events. Furthermore, an architecture exhibition will be held at the Hillside Forum across from the Embassy. The exhibition will focus on how Danish architecture and design have been inspired by Japan over the past 150 years, and will provide an insight into the relationship between the two countries.
Among the partners of the Denmark Pavilion are DCCJ members Novo Nordisk Pharma Ltd., Coloplast and Lundbeck Japan. Furthermore DCCJ members Arla, Danish Crown and Scan Global Logistics are contributing to the pavilion and its content.
The Denmark Pavilion will be at the Royal Danish Embassy and Hillside Forum from Friday July 23 to Sunday August 8 and Tuesday August 24 to Sunday September 5.
Opening hours will be 11am to 7pm (opening day from 3 pm).
Please find further information about the pavilion on the website of the Royal Danish Embassy.
