Concert with the Danish folk-music band Sun Day Karma

On April 14th 2019 the Royal Danish Embassy will host the Danish folk music Band Sun Day Karma, at the residence of the Danish Ambassador, Mr. Freddy Svane.

Sun Day Karma is a Danish/Swedish Orchestra who loves the great, traditional Scandinavian music. For more information click here

It is a folk- and world music band that creates an intense and joyous atmosphere where Scandinavian language and tunes create magic moments and symphonies.

They're music is a combination of Nordic ballads and Scandinavian folk music, interpreted in a modern way.

They are applying a new sound to the songs from the Danish Folk High School songbook, which gives them a new, timeless musical identity.

The bands consists of:

Perry Stenbäck : guitar / nyckelharp / vocal

Rasmus Skovgaard : guitar / lap steel / mandolin / choir

Christine Dueholm : percussion / choir

Vibeke Beckett : guitar / vocal / choir

Robert Dueholm Stenbäck : bass / vocal / choir

The program for the event is as follows:

3PM: Doors will open

3:30PM: Welcome speech by the Ambassador

3:40PM: Concert starts

4:40PM: Concert ends, drinks and snacks will be served

6PM: End of event
