About The Event
Together with DCCC (Danish Chamber of Commerce China) DCCJ is proud to introduce a speaker event with Professor Svend Brinkmann.
Author of multiple bestselling books, and publisher of 150+ scholarly articles, Svend Brinkmann confronts the conventional idea that the 'want it all' / 'do it all' attitude in society is a key reason to continuous happiness and personal development. He flips this notion around and argues that the opposite has a better effect on the individual - that the joy of missing out is an attribute to be used proactively in your daily life.
Mr. Brinkmann will equip you with the necessary inner compass to navigate the pressures and stress of modern society and give you the strength to SAY NO and make the right choices in the constant balancing of work and private life.
Svend Brinkmann is a renowned expert in the world of psychology, both within and outside the borders of Denmark. He hosts a weekly radio show on the Danish National Broadcasting Corporation DR P1 called 'Brinkmanns Briks' (Listen to Brinkmanns Briks here (in Danish)). He is also a regularly in debates on TV and radio shows, he has been interviewed by countless Danish and international media, and has been a featured speaker at many high level forums with Danish businesses, local governments and municipalities in Denmark.
The event will be held in English and participants are more than welcome to ask Svend Brinkmann questions about how to navigate life in hypermodernity.
Don't miss out on this thought-provoking, entertaining, and unique opportunity to meet one of the most famous Danish experts on psychology and a strong voice in the Danish public discourse that has influenced the thinking of an entire generation of Danes.
*Cancellation after the deadline or no-show will be invoiced in full.*
