Describtion: "With a nod to the term “Black Swan” (Nicolas Taleb, 2007), Volans founder and chief pollinator, John Elkington, has just published his 20th book, “Green Swans – the Coming Boom in Regenerative Capitalism”. The book describes “green swans” as a profound market shift, generally catalyzed by some combination of Black or Grey Swan challenges and changing paradigms, values, mindsets, politics, policies, technologies, business models, and other key factors. A Green Swan delivers exponential progress in the form of economic, social, and environmental wealth creation. At worst, it achieves this outcome in two dimensions while holding the third steady. There may be a period of adjustment where one or more dimensions underperform, but the aim is an integrated breakthrough in all three dimensions.
The webinar will focus on some big questions of the 2020s:
What is a “green swan”?
What is regenerative capitalism and where is it already taking shape?
Why will the 2020s be the decisive decade?
Who will be the leaders in the coming market transformation?
