Global pandemic of a novel virus amplified by travel in a globalized world has long been perceived as one of the main 'black swan'-type risks that could have an immense impact on business and economy. The covid-19 epidemic showed that most of the companies were poorly prepared, although SARS, avian flu and MERS should have given them enough of a warning. On the other hand, by quickly reacting to the changing environment some of the companies showed how opportunities could be found even in such a dramatic crisis. What measures the companies were taking when the outbreak started and how effective were they? What have the businesses learnt from the first months of the pandemic and how have they changed their strategies? Join us as we explore how companies in Japan are responding to the coronavirus pandemic and explore the learning outcomes from covid-19. You can register for the webinar here.
