Danes Worldwide Information Event

On Tuesday, October 21st, The Danish Chamber of Commerce Japan, The Danish Club in Japan, and Danes Worldwide are co-hosting an event at BoConcept Aoyama (B1, Herning room) in Tokyo, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, to provide Danish expats with important updates on their rights.

The event aims to inform the Danish expat community about Danish laws and regulations that may affect their rights and responsibilities while living abroad.

The evening will begin with a welcome speech from the organizers and a greeting from the Danish Ambassador to Japan, followed by a 45-minute presentation by Danes Worldwide. This presentation will cover a range of key topics, including Danish citizenship laws, taxation, social security, and Danish state pension schemes.

Following the presentation, there will be a 40-minute Q&A session, offering attendees the opportunity to ask questions directly tothe legal advisor.

About Danes Worldwide:

Danes Worldwide is a member association working to support expat Danes in moving abroad, staying connected with Denmark, and resettling in Denmark.

One of the key offerings is Danish language courses. Danish online courses and the Danish Summer School help Danish children and youth maintain their knowledge of Danish language and culture. Another key offering is legal counseling in areas such as family reunification, Danish citizenship, taxation, and moving to and from Denmark. We advocate for the interests of expat Danes with politicians and decision makers and lobby with respect to the key concerns of Danes living abroad.

Danes Worldwide Informationarrangement

21. oktober (tirsdag) | BoConcept Aoyama (B1, Hearning Room)

Tirsdag den 21. oktober afholder The Danish Chamber of Commerce Japan, Den Danske Klub in Japan og Danes Worldwide et fælles arrangement hos BoConcept Aoyama i Tokyo fra kl. 17:30 til 19:00 for at give danske udlandsdanskere vigtige opdateringer om deres rettigheder.

Arrangementet har til formål at informere det danske expat-miljø om dansk lovgivning og regulering, som kan have betydning for deres rettigheder og forpligtelser under ophold i udlandet.

Aftenen begynder med en velkomsttale fra arrangørerne og en hilsen fra Danmarks ambassadør i Japan, efterfulgt af en 45-minutters præsentation ved Danes Worldwide. Denne præsentation vil dække en række centrale emner, herunder dansk statsborgerskabslovgivning, beskatning, social sikring og danske folkepensionsordninger.

Efter præsentationen vil der være en 40-minutters Q&A-session, hvor deltagerne får mulighed for at stille spørgsmål direkte til den juridiske rådgiver.
