About The Event

As we embark on the new year, it is with great pleasure that DCCJ can invite our members to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, February 8, 2021.

At this year’s AGM, the board of DCCJ will report back to you on the year that has passed and on the exciting new plans for the year 2021. We will post further information regarding the full agenda once arranged.

As this is an ideal opportunity to get informed and involved in the comings and goings of DCCJ and your fellow members, we hope and strongly urge all our members to take part in this important event. As always, should any of our members be interested in joining the board of DCCJ, they are more than welcome to step forward and contact DCCJ.

We hope we get to see as many members as possible and urge you all to take an active part in the discussions.

Following the AGM part we have arranged special guest speakers.

First a short greeting from our Ambassador Peter Taksøe- Jensen.

Second we have the pleasure to welcome Mr. Masato Yamada, CEO, MHI Vestas Japan who will speak about ", The green revolution in Japan and offshore wind energy’s role in decarbonising Japan".

Lastly Mr. Sune Strøm, Senior Expert, Economic Diplomacy, Energy of the Royal Danish Embassy will speak about "Danish Energy Governance Programme supporting the upscaling of renewable energy production and use in Japan"

We hope there will be time for Q&A after the presentations.

About Mr. Sune Strøm:

Sune Strøm has recently started as Energy Expert at the Royal Danish Embassy to Japan. Before joining the Embassy Sune worked for Ørsted in Gentofte in the Regulatory Department, where he was the regulatory expert on offshore wind energy during 7 years. He has worked directly with authorities and other main stakeholders in Denmark as well as in new markets in Europe in order to develop markets for offshore wind energy through efficient regulation. He was also supporting colleagues in the other markets, where Ørsted was present and thereby he has gained knowledge of the regulatory development and challenges across the main global offshore wind energy markets.

Before joining Ørsted he worked five years as the Chief Economist at Winddenmark (at that time the Danish Wind Industry Association). In the association he was responsible for energy policy development, analyses and statistics for wind power in general and as a part of the energy mix.
