The LEGO Group is a privately held Danish toy and media company founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Christiansen in Billund, Denmark, where it remains headquartered today and is owned by the Kristiansen family through their investment firm KIRKBI. In Japan, LEGO has a well-established and multi-layered presence.
