As we embark on the new year, it is with great pleasure that DCCJ once again can invite our members to the Royal Danish Embassy in Tokyo for our Annual General Meeting (AGM), which this year falls on Wednesday, February 12th, 2020.
At this year's AGM, the board of DCCJ will report back on the year that has passed and talk about new exciting plans for the year 2020. This is a great opportunity for you and your company to keep yourself up-to-date on the comings and goings of DCCJ and your fellow members, and at the same time give us your thoughts and even put your own mark on future DCCJ activities. Following the AGM, we have the pleasure of welcoming Dr. George Olcott as this year's guest speaker. Olcott is a Guest Professor at the Department of Business and Commerce at Keio University, and is on the board of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Holdings, Denso Corporation, Hitachi Chemical and J.P.Morgan Japanese investment Trust. The presentation for this evening will elaborate on the relevant and exciting topic of ‘Rethinking the Japanese company for Global Japan'.
Leading up to the AGM, we also have the pleasure of welcoming MARTEC for an interesting talk about Training Ship DANMARK and their coming journey to Japan for the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020.
